Today in 1989, Ron Brown became the first African-American to lead a major political party as chairman of the Democratic National Committee. He died in 1996 in what some people think was an assassination cover-up.
The defamation and mystery continues from a decidedly Bush-washing bent. February may be Black History Month but beware the idiocy of Clinton in comparisons of Brown to Martin Luther King Jr.

I am in the Air Force and have heard some of the details of that crash. They were flying an approach in the weather that they could not safely fly because of a lack of equipment on the airplane. They couldn't see the ground, got lost, and hit a mountain. It is more common than you might think.
