RIP Wendy Wasserstein
Playwright Wendy Wasserstein, author of The Heidi Chronicles, The Sisters Rosenzweig and other works, has passed away at the age of only 55.
I knew Wendy slightly, and she was awesome. I keep thinking of all the works she would have written in the next 30 or so years. We never know what's going to befall us, so maybe we'd better make a start on those symphonies, novels, inventions and discoveries that we were going to get around to someday.

I was stunned to see this. She was a (and will remain) an important playwright. Nam June Paik also died. The art world bows in silence.
