Will Homeland Security steal your stuff in a national emergency?
According to Bellacio.org, they will, if you keep guns or gold in a safe-deposit box at the bank. Tinfoil hat time? No, but who cares? Personally I keep all my tinfoil in a secret stash at the bottom of the local swimming hole.

From my Googling, this seems to be the sole source of the claim, and they don't bother citing their source. I'm looking forward to seeing this on Snopes.

I didn't think currency was allowed in a bank deposit box, you have to be licensed to actually possess gold in quantity (I guess jewelry is excluded), and banks will allow you to put guns in a safety deposit box in the first place? I've seen signs in texas where there is a concealed carry law that weapons are not allowed inside the bank, although thats at their discretion.
