Music Search Thingy
Enjoy it while it lasts. via J-Walk

Okay, I've typed in 17 band names and gotten no results. Who do I blame?
-
hmm. i got a bunch, but they weren't that obscure.
-
What is this? digg?
-
Yeah. It was on Digg earlier and was very cool. Unfortunatly (according to the developer's comments in the Digg thread) the place that he was interfacing with changed their code and broke his front end.

Is it dead, Jim?
-
0708 UTC App is live and cool. 0815 UTC App is dead in the water. Is that a record?
-
Maybe it got J-Walked on.
-
Dang!
-
Also, I typed Jay-Z and Nirvana to no avail. And I don't like one of those two artists.
-
Jayvana?
-
well you are not missing much the sound quality was the suck.
-
Better'n innanet radio?
-
sounded okay to me, but i didn't understand how the files were getting to me.
-
The site linked to was just a pretty flash front end to the search functionality found here: http://www.radioblogclub.com/. Sound quality is completely dependent upon the individual file being streamed (or the network between the file and you). It isn't the fault of the app. I found this to work much better than Pandora.com, which seemed to require a fairly high bandwidth (for audio only). At least that was my impression.

"Better'n innanet radio?" No.
-
last.fm is better than plain vanilla internet radio.
