On Second Thought, I'll Just Have Some Dry Toast.
Give it a second, then hit (watch teaser) button...

Reminds me of some recent mornings getting ready for work. I kinda fell off the ol' Weight Watchers points plan in the past couple of weeks. [aside] I really hate sites that re-size my browser. [/aside]

Clearly Sundays on MoFi are dedicated to weighty issues.

Thanks for weighing in, IgnorantSlut.

But I'm actually interested in the movie now, wondering if it might have shades of Watchmen or Mystery Men (very different, but both good).
-
Yes and no - the backstory is essentially Superman meets My Blue Heaven. Mr. Incredible and his family of superheroes are put into the witness protection program and try to lead normal lives. As you might expect, Mr. Incredible is nostalgic for his old life and jumps at the chance to get back into action when he is called.

It was disapointing. And I had sympathy for the bad guy - I saw myself in him (being an untalented klutz). Everyone should have a chance to be a superhero, not just people born with it. It doesn't bode so well for a film when the bad guy at times seems more sympathetic than the hero. But I liked the hair animation - they are getting better at that.

See! She's started complaining right about here and never let up!

blahblahblah hair.

Bah, hair. The animators of Toy Story said on the "making of" documentary that they couldn't do hair because they couldn't scan it. That same year, Tekken 3 also came out, and in the animated victory scenes, Lei Wulong and True Ogre have beautiful, flowing locks. Gorgeous stuff.
