Skills And Knowledge - I've got skills. They're multiplying. But I'm not losing control because one of my skills is controlling multiplying skills. Which is handy. EXAMPLE: I can do something with my tongue that drives women absolutely wild!!!! By expelling air over its surface and carefully shaping the contours of my mouth I can form the words "Get in the kitchen and do the washing up."
  • Best FPP of 2005!
  • Oh Christ, that's funny!
  • " SKILL: I am able to ascertain whether a television channel has anything worth watching on it in the 0.015 seconds I view it before changing station. My other half doesn't believe it's possible but that's because she was raised to put the television on and then not touch the remote control for the rest of the evening." Ha! I've got an even higher power: if whoever I'm watching TV with manages to cunningly distract or club me senseless and gain possesion of the remote, their yells of 'GGGAAAAHH it's all moist!' just make me smile. Sweaty hands, they say I have. Mwwhaaa mwhaaa!!
  • While there are quite possibly millions of sites with a humor column or people who think they're funny ranting on and on in what is ultimately a fairly inane way (and I have to admit that I have, during the dark days of my mid-20s contributed somewhat to the reeking effluvium that is most internet humor), I have to say the following about the linked page: It's funny. And in the era where Brunching.com is defunct, HomestarRunner has lost a bit of its luster, and reading the Onion is starting to feel more like watching SNL (complete with the slowly, painfully growing thought that their best days are well and truly behind them), I really, really like to read a funny site. Just a little rant because by golly I REALLY like being able to read a link that tries and succeeds at being funny. Not life-changingly funny, but 90 seconds of solid grin-inducement with the occasional LOL.
  • This guy is BRILLIANT! HILARIOUS! EVIL GENIUS! I envy his humorosity so much I hate him! And check out this NSFW* earlier piece *due to technical illustration of body part with gut-bustingly incorrect notation And note how quickly MoFi has risen on his list of "most visits"... and he considers us relatively work-safe. How naive!
  • I don't know, chimaera, seems like the same ol', same ol' to me. But, yes it's "funny."
  • Could be I was just having a crummy day and needed a laugh, hence the funny was magnified due to no fault (or virtue) of its own.
  • OK...I was going to say this guy was mildly amusing, but not funny...then I read the piece wendell linked to.
