These are the people in Arnold's Neighborhood Any Flash animation that has flies circling around Bill O'Reilly is O.K. by me. This link is a clever plot by the GOP to start building their base with young kids, but I found it enjoyable just the same.

  • Yes, sorry, I figured it would be obvious this isn't really a ploy to get 4-year-olds to like O'Reilly and Ken Lay. Hopefully His Noodliness will see to it that these people are out of office long before the 4-year-olds have to be burdened with understanding what's happening these days. :-)
  • It's an amusing video, and I don't really follow state politics, but...why would Schwarzeneggar be linked with Ken Lay? Enron's collapse all happened a couple years before he was elected. Anyway, wasn't California getting screwed by energy companies a big part of the discontent with Gray Davis that led to the recall? I've also never really seen any reason to consider him excessively beholden to the Bush administration, as the song suggests. But again, I don't follow state politics, so am I missing something?
  • When Arnie was running for office, there were some stories about him consulting with Ken Lay. The original news stories have disappeared, but a Google search indicates that there's still some buzz going on. I'm not familiar with the sites, so pick any that you trust.
