Pustota - an interesting FLASH music video rich with imagery in a style reminiscent of the Brothers Quay. [VIA: NEWGROUNDS.COM]
  • Well the aesthetic is better than the animation, but still very cool. Any idea what the lyrics are saying? Or what is going on?
  • No ideas about what the heck it's all about. As for the animation, I find that a new aesthetic is sometimes found in working around your technical limitations. The camera angles and scene transitions that are accomplished are quite interesting and innovative despite the sub-par attention to dimension in character animation. All of these things however, I consider to be facets of animation. It's hard to say that the attention to beauty is better than the method of attaining that beauty in a visual medium, considering the two are apples and oranges or, at least, two players on a continuum of sorts. I have to think about this now.
