Panexa
: Cafepress doesn't get the joke hilarious
-
I get the joke. It is mildly funny.
-
They spelled "ocelot" incorrectly. Clearly it's because of the drugs.
-
I used to work in the pharmaceutical industry. Which is why I thought the Panexa "advertisement" (and especially cafepress's reaction to it) was extremely funny.
-
You WANT to eat the hot dog.
-
I seldom watch the Boob Tube, but there was a commercial on last night that advertised a pill with the exhortation to have everyone call their doctor to ask for it. Didn't say what the pill was for, but I'm thinking who cares? I'm sure we all need it.
-
I already called and got mine. Still don't know what they're for, but man I feel good!

"do not taunt" is from SNL's Happy Fun Ball, c. 1990. The concept in general is probably older, but is certainly derivative of a piece in Steve Martin's book "Pure Drivel" c. 2000. If Cade Press didnt get the joke, they obviously havent been paying attention to any mainstream comedy in the last decade, because people have been running the "arent drug label warnings silly" bit into the ground at least that long.
