A nuanced work of some subtlety, neatly encapsulating the fin-de-siƩcle ambiguities about masculinity that gripped the American heartland in the years before the War. Who amongst us has not cried out in ur-longing for self-affirmation: "Hoy, hoy I'm the boy, packing 80 pounds of heavenly joy"? But there is a hidden sub-text. As the chain-gun screams 'budda, budda, budda' we are in fact seeing an evocation of the meditative calm that the zombie-infested reality of Anytown America denies any but the most heavily armed.

Well, that makes Rob Liefeld look like Alan Moore.

"You are huge! That means you have huge guts!" Um. That's the most offensive comic i've ever read. I'm sure there are comics that are more offensive (I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE) but that was just... ick.

Obviously, you didn't get it.

Now I'm radioactive! That can't be good. Why can't we find a way to safely dispose of radioactive waste and protect the environment? /spit-take
