  • Cool to see we're finally getting back pictures from this scope. They've been working on it for years and years and years. The last mirror was brought up a couple of months ago. Here's the story behind the haul: How to haul a mirror up a mountain (Click the pictures for larger versions. ) I can assure you that that road is extremely challenging to drive a car up, let alone haul a multi-million dollar pieve of precision glass that took years to make. I used to go camping on that mountain twice a year, and the stargazing there is second to none. They should be getting a lot of showstopper photos from this scope.
