OK, thanks for all of the comments so far. The reason I am opposed to space heaters is that they're typically pretty energy inefficient and I'm trying to minimize as much as possible my utility bills for the winter.
The insulation ideas are all in the works. What I meant by reversed the fans is that I reversed the direction of the fans, which I read you're supposed to do in the winter to keep the hot air away from the ceilings.
As far as CO goes, I refused to turn the furnace on until the landlord put a CO monitor in. Thanks!

So, I guess that the camera will need some proprietary hardware to retrieve the pictures? It wasn't totally clear from the article. Otherwise, you will have a $19.99 digital camera to keep.
Update: I'm drinking a Mountain Dew Pitch Black right now and it's everything a soda should be: super sugary, super sweet, and fizzy. As someone who doesn't drink soda very often, I like my soda to be very "soda-y" when I DO indulge.
There is some discussion of the 0207 thing here. Near as I can gather, English phone numbers are actually eight numbers, and not seven (as shown in that photo). So, the phone number should be 020 7485 7247 instead of the 0207 485 7247.
This is just a guess.
