Log in for details.What does my username mean? Contrary to what you might imagine, there's nothing actually religious about it.
There's a Japanese 四字熟語 (yojijukugo: four-character proverb) "三日坊主" (mikkabouzu: three-day monk). It refers literally to someone who decides to become a monk but gives up after three days, unable to handle the ascetic life. Allegorically, it means anyone who takes on something new, but lacks the sticking power to see it through.
I suspect that most of us are like that sometimes - myself included. The username "ThreeDayMonk", therefore, is something of a reminder/reproach to myself to finish what I start!
