Bio:
When I was a kid ( < 6 years old) I believed I was half monkey because of my fondness for bananas and hanging upside down from trees. My parents, neither of whom had any recent simian ancestors, disagreed with my hypothesis. However, this didn't deter me from informing my friends, colleagues, and total strangers that I was indeed half monkey. This was particularly frustrating for my mom when I was hanging upside down from the separator bars in the supermarket checkout line, making monkey sounds.
