Order a MoFiTShirt now! If you want to be the hawtt sex0r this coming summer, or if you're in the southern hemisphere and need an extra layer and/or umbrella, now's the time to obtain a highly desirable MonkeyFilter tee. Go ahead, ask me how.

So the plan is this: I will take payments for t-shirts, which are US$17 each including shipping, regardless of location. We need to get about 125 orders before we can start printing because of setup costs - the t-shirts are seven-colour (so they will look fantastically awesome) and there's a one-off charge per colour, plus shirts, plus screens. Sizes range from men's small to XXL. All orders are via email and should include the details listed below. You need to follow up your preorder email with payment of $17. If you choose to pay by PayPal (credit or debit card), click here* and I will receive email verification of your payment. If you would prefer to pay by cheque or money order, I'll reply to your order with my mailing address. Orders are not complete until payment is received. Your order needs to be in US$. Please include in your order the following information: MoFi username Real name Postal address Contact email Method of payment # of shirts, sizes * You will need to open a PayPal account, which is free, and payments can be made to either tracyh at gmail or admin at monkeyfilter.com.

  • It's looking at this rate like we'll be able to get the actual printing started next week, meaning we'll have spanking new t-shirts in next to no time. Keep those orders coming in, monkeys! We're halfway there! rxreed, we're not doing kids' tees this time around - trying to keep it simple for a first run. But I'm hoping the next batch will include kids' t-shirts. (We'd have to shrink the print down I guess too, which would mean having two different sets of setup costs for large print and small print.) Oh, and up to XXL.

  • Hi, I got the mofirc exchange on the label, which if it is supposed to be a chiquita banana label, is actually blue. It shouldn't be a problem to have it read "established 2003" but to save money and time we might want to get chriss to modify his original artwork and send me the modified file.   • You know, if one or two people wanted a particular comment and didn't mind the quality of the print, cafepress would be okay. I've been very tempted by Mefi's [more inside] maternity t-shirt lately, even though it's cafepress, because I know it wouldn't be worth doing a full-on print run.
  • I wanted one of those also, tracicle, but the sizing is very off since it was a juniors shirt (?! the XL is 35" bust/33" waist - um - HAH =P that is not going to work). Not to mention that I wasn't really digging the color options. Do you have a MoFi Cafepress store for these sorts of small runs? Could we do a [more inside] shirt through a MoFi store (and that way get something that would actually fit us - I don't know how big you are yet but I'm way to too big by now to get away with a teeny little girlie shirt)?
  • I saw another cafe press like store the other day that supposedly has a better printing method, and has a wider range of colors and sizes for shirts. In case you wanted a cafe press alternative, that is.
  • I didn't notice the sizes, 'Nika. There's no way that would fit me. Maybe I will do a Mefi store. I so, can anyone add designs? It looks like it on Mefi, anyway. Zazzle looks really interesting, and works the same way as cafepress in that you can do one-off printings if you want. It looks like the price difference is only about 50 cents, too.

One says to the other "Long time no sea" Anyway, dhruva (yeah, that was him with the slightly disapproving look - though as the caption explains, we were 'caught off guard') and I were talking about monkeyfilter at the Metafilter meetup today and I mentioned that I haven't visited monkeyfilter for a while for a while and I thought I might renew the acquaintance.
