  • Very funny! I like how everything is explained "Napster is..." etc. because it underscores all the marketing 'spin' and the ascribed 'cool' factor to the persons discussed.
  • WHAT DID ENCYCLOPEDIA BROWN MISS? (Turn to page 112 for the solution to the case of the tasteless nutcase) The clue was Bugs Meany's lapse in taste: Bugs had illegally downloaded Metallica
  • If I recall correctly, Modern Humorist (which is rarely updated nowadays) was founded by alumni of the always-excellent Harvard Lampoon. My all-time fave MH article: Harry Potter and the Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius.

  • But with a name like "Modern Humorist", how can you tell it's so-o-o-o 2001... I just remembered they paid me five bucks for a mal-formed embryonic idea that got used in their e-mail newsletter a couple years ago. I never did declare that fiver on my taxes... that must be why I'm getting audited!
