The art of Ted Tucker. @#$%! it up 24-7!!! A very talented young artist from Toronto. Getting some serious attention. Check links for more. Enjoy!
  • Your link's broken - this one works.
  • Wow-- some of Tucker reminds me of John Currin's older stuff-- some similar subject matter with the ironic distancing of the LA Realists, but he definitely has his own stong eye and a steadily developing confidence. What is his training? Background? Etc. Thank you, orbit. Getting the art on in MoFi is a rare joy...
  • Thanks dng for pointing out the bad link. CHHERS! Ted's from Ottawa, and is a graduate from OCAD's art program in Toronto. He is represented by Fran Hill Gallery.
  • Honestly, this stuff does nothing for me. Can someone tell me what they get out of it?
  • May I make a suggestion that instead of re-posting the link to the front page that you post the corrected link in the thread itself. In this case, DNG was good enough to do it for you. I'm not trying to be snarky, I've just noticed this happening a few times recently and it seems like a sub-optimal way to handle such errors.
  • I don't like the fact that he has a pop-up of a picture of himself getting arrested on the front page. Smacks of the "Look at me, LOOK AT MEEEEEEE" school of art. Some of the pictures were quite cool, though.
  • Smacks of the "Look at me, LOOK AT MEEEEEEE" school of art. Do you know where's that's located? (because they really need to chill.)
