Spoofing Shepard Fairey's Obama "Hope" Posters
  • No Nader? My favorite has to be Palin with the dripping blue blood; that was the most innovative take on the original, IMHO. A lot of them seem to lack creative spirit in the true "lampooing" sense. Nevertheless, fun stuff...
  • I would have thought Ali's Rope-a-Dope to be a natural candidate, but guess not.
  • Does Photoshop have a Fairey filter yet?
  • The "bitch" one was classy. But the Mavis Beacon one was genius.
  • *taps fingers and awaits the Mr. Whiskers version in anticipation*
  • I can't see all the images from work. Was this one of them? Cuz it should be. :)
  • That's better than most of them, actually.
  • Whaaa...the Palin poster doesn't feature the word DOPE? And by the way, the word "dope" on the Keith Richard's poster is nothing but a compliment.
  • MoveOn.org offering free Obama "Yes We Did" stickers. These commemorative stickers mark Barack Obama's historic victory and were designed by groundbreaking artist Shepard Fairey—the same artist who designed the world-famous, iconic "Hope" poster for Obama.
