Coprolites found in an Oregon cave lie to rest the theory that Clovis people were the first humans to inhabit the "Americas". So much for Captain Picard being the "grandfather" of all "Americans"...

I have to admit, this was the first time I've ever zoomed in on a piece of crap!

  • The best part of that last link is the appendix at the very bottom of the page. "Paranormal Experiences of Dr. James Chatters in Connection with Kennewick Man"
  • If you know California, you know that Clovis is a suburb of Fresno (which, as a city, barely deserves to have suburbs), and the residents of Clovis, CA (full disclosure: including some of my ex-in-laws) are definitely Missing Links.
  • MonkeyFilter: this was the first time I've ever zoomed in on a piece of crap! Did I really post that? It's YOUR fault, SMT!
  • mmmm fried chicken
  • What a way to leave your mark on history!
  • Poo-sterity?
  • The anals of history.
  • The origin of the faeces.
  • Lumps of history hee hee We should all be so inspired. Let's go out and make history today, Monkeys! Please don't fling the history.
  • Diarrhea of a Caveman
  • Has The Coprolites been taken as a band name? If not, I have dibs.
  • The puns, they are endless! Clue to early Americans lies in origin of the feces. Note also that the HTML page name contains the string "oldpoop."
  • Not another story about those constipated cavemen!
