Building a Lionel Ritchie head

  • If these guys have so much time on their hands, they can come over and do my laundry. But, man, you could hardly tell their final effort from the one in the video.

  • Here is a chronicle of how my friend and I built our first Lionel Richie head. The funniest word in the above sentence -- by far -- is "first."

  • I'm laughing so hard at this, I'm crying! If only the blind girl at the end of that video had unveiled their creation, how much more awesome that would've been! Man, this makes up for me having to sit through watching this revolting video on MTV hundreds of times while waiting for my beloved Duran Duran to appear. Wow, I suddenly feel very old.

  • Yeah, that's a stretch. It is recognizable as a head though.
