Desktop Tower Defense! OMG! Little... things... are invading your desktop! How can you defend yourself? The answer is towers! Flash Tuesday.

Kind of like that virus game I posted on Friday to resounding and chilly silence. But this one has way more awesomeness.

  • This game actually aggravates me a bit, as it's a carbon copy of this clever game from 2005. If you check the statistics, the damage, range, cost, towers, etc are all lifted from Xeno Tactic. Xeno Tactic

  • Ah, touche. Well I played Xeno Tactic first, and for some reason thought it was the original. Pardon for any misdirection/trolling. Although I still really like the Vector TD a lot :D
  • It's alright, DumberThanPaint, easy enough mistake to make. As far as Vector TD is concerned, I think my earlier posted Virus TD is pretty much a direct rip off of THAT game. Apparently, there's a lot of "borrowing" that goes on in the world of flash app.

  • I beat it on hard, trick was using all of one type of tower. Fully upgraded squirters FTW. Maze so your fully upgraded squirters can nail a couple of creep passes, and are all in the center of the board.

  • Beat the game on medium, finally. Oddly enough, both times I've played on medium & scored enough to get on the board, I've been #25.

  • Yes! I took the plunge a few months ago and spent the $5 to get a metafilter account, so it was with glee that I posted my score to that group and actually saw my name on the top 100 again. Whoo!
  • I couldn't get anywhere with that damn thing. My first score was about 2,700 and it remains close to my best after, well, several attempts.
