Biggest Bottom Evar I just gotta have more bass! YouTube video.via.
  • Thanks, Queso! That was the highlight* of a confused event. Although I will admit that after all these years, Madonna's still got it. Not that I want it, but she's got it nevertheless. And takin' the kids to skool with it. And showin' off a little Charlie Tango to the world in the process. *I missed me some Beastie Boys, apparently, so I may be wrong.
  • "...eventually everyone does Madonna."
  • Ah, the zenith of butt music, cushioned neatly in that crack between 1978's "Fat Bottomed Girls" and 1992's "Baby Got Back".
  • Ok, gimme a clue here. Do bassists never solo? That seemed a perfect opportunity for some exciting music if they do, but it didn't happen.
  • Sometimes they do. Depends on the bass player and their style. Not nearly as often as guitarists, or even drummers.
  • Joe Jackson made a joke about bass solos on his "Summer in the City" album. But none of his drummers have exploded.
  • When you hire more than ten bass players, i believe there's a free gift.
  • Well, at least this lrued petebest out. Where have you been?
  • Previewing after posting is always dangerous.
  • Ah, nut what's life without a litlte dangre? Previews sre fro wimps!
  • Do bassists never solo? That seemed a perfect opportunity for some exciting music if they do, but it didn't happen. I thought they were taking turns doing solo breaks but the individuals were drowned out by the wall of sound. If you want some bass solos listen to Charlie Mingus or some lesser jazz bassist.
  • > the individuals were drowned out by the wall of sound I got the impression most of them weren't amplified. Would've sounded interesting on the stage. Still, a fun sight.
