Get Rich or Try Lying Fake rich guy (online magazine reporter) surveys a $500-per speed dating event in Gotham. Potential male suitors must make $500k/yr. with a million in the bank. Potential female catches must submit five pictures to prove hotness. Come! For the freaks! Stay! For the show! via $5.00Filter
  • Good for them. I have a certain respect for the gold diggers/shallow hot-seeking men who admit what they are doing. What I hate is when they pretend to be in love and the young hottie says that it is not about money and that she is in love or the guy says that she is a beautiful person and he wouldn't care what she would look like. Those people are full of shit and I hate them. But people who can say, "I love the money, and he loves getting ass from a hot chick," I have absolute respect for.
  • Sounds like it would be a boring evening - but yeah like bernockle said at least they are honest about their purpose.
  • Sounds to me like more than one of the girls is expecting a young, handsome face to go with all the cash.
  • I completely agree with bernockle, which makes TUMs comment oh-so interesting, because really, if the guy is rich AND hot he can get a babe on his own steam. as someone who has, in my nefarious past, dated men for the express purpose of parting them from their large amounts of hard-earned moolah, they are often very sweet, nice, interesting, intelligent, respectful guys (the few I dated anyway) but they are rarely well-hung Lotharios who look like Johnny Depp and romance you like Valentino.
  • Too bad they didn't have a female plant.
  • Nuts to the young, virile, good-looking ones. Gimme the old, feeble, one-foot-in-the-grave! Why share?
  • Bluehorse - the Anna Nicole Smith of the MoFi... (~_^)
  • GramMa Nicole Smith!
  • GramMa speaks truth to money!
  • Most employees who earn over $500K per year are far too busy for proper social interaction. For guys who want to have sex with hot shallow women, this sort of event is useful in concentrating their efforts. They get to meet a bunch of gold diggers in a short amount of time; everyone's motivation is quite clear; and the social stigma is less than that for explicit prostitution.
