  • this reminds me of when they discovered how sticky tape works on smooth surfaces...apparently, the adhesive on the tape is like a whole bunch of spherical beads, and when you press down on the tape they squish flat and come in contact with each other. then the little triangular spaces between them act like suction cups, holding the tape to the surface...

  • Firefox didn't work, but using IE Tab extension to switch that tab to rendering with IE did work, and I watched the cool little animation. And yes, I must say the though of all the little sellotape glue blob snuggling up together does cause a warm feeling...
