Also, we've done some of this sort of thing before.
It's also good for the old-school crack - like Rainbow Batman.
There are a couple of titles I started buying because I saw samples on scans_daily. It's a lovely place.
"Young Avengers"? "Hulkling"? WTF? Is this like Muppet Babies Marvel?
Heh. Pretty much. I think it's like Legion of Super-Heroes (Bouncing Boy! Saturn Girl! Atkins-Eater Lad! Sk8tr Boi! The Tourette Kid!), only Marvel and contemporary and with built-in brand recognition (like I said, contemporary).
Young Avengers is on my pull list already and has been a damn good read so far.
