Leonardo's
lost work, the Battle of Anghiari, may be hidden behind a wall in Florence.
It would be a great boost for the Universal Leonardo Project, due to hit a whole series of galleries next year.
Fantastic.
Seeing as this is perhaps, ooh, five minutes stroll from the Mothninja'n'Danger abode, any monkeys wishing to pop over and have a look are most welcome.
Bananas! Wish I could pop over for a look.
*pop*
Wow. I seethe at Mothninja'n'Danger.
I SEETHE!
I'm seething too.
Me seethe three. Not at mothninja & danger personally, but at the general situation.
*shakes fist at sky*
can't type ... seething ...
I totally found a lost leonardo under my bed. It was a picture of like hercules fighting godzilla, and it was a code. The code was "NICKDANGER RULES!!!!"
Hercules fighting godzilla? wait a second, what u doing with *my* leonardo
Ha, my Leonardo totally whales on your Leonardo. Mine is of Godzilla AND Mothra fighting Angelina Jolie.
Goddamn that Angelina Jolie.
Ha double-ha, my Leonardo brings his dazzling talent to the role of Hamlet while Godzilla plays Claudius, Mothra plays Gertrude, and Angelina Jolie plays Ophelia.
Angelina Jolie as Ophelia? Mmm, sexy AND crazy...
*drools, falls over*
Hey I just got a postcard from mothninja! w00tw00tw00t! OMG Florence is so old!
Does the postcard have a lost Renaissance art masterpiece on it?
(If not, she's holding out on you)
This can only mean one thing: another bloody Dan Brown book.
Fuck.
*seethes at Dan Brown*
Nah, just a bunch of orange tiled rooftops. Maybe one of the houses has stolen art stashed in it though. Sweet.
Noted critic Tom Phillips seethed his way through a regrettably rare Mofi comment.
(Wrote Dan)
That's right, flashboy, couldn't you manage to get yourself the sack or something?
Another hidden Leonardo picture.
The reason why he painted over the picture was that he knew it was crap and he was short of canvas. There, you see? Why aren't I running this arty thing business? Oh, yeah, now I remember.
