Curious Careers: in search of any printable career aptitude tests I can use in the classroom. Any suggestions?
I've found a lot of online tests but haven't turned up anything I can print out and interpret with my students.
How close are you to a public or university library? While you won't find much that's printable on the web, the number of books that have copyable versions of myers-briggs, mbti, or other types of tests is huge.
Online, you won't find much for two reasons: first, one advantage of web-based apps is that one can take such a test and get immediate feedback (obviating the need for printing) and second, firms that charge for that sort of thing are meanies and don't want to share.
i'm about 25,000 or so miles from the closest english language university library. i should have mentioned that i teach english in korea and have extrmely limited access to english books...libraries....periodicals...etc.
have you tried this link? you have to go through a (free but annoying) registration process, i just lied my way through it. you get to a 100-question career aptitude test that would be easy enough to print out.
