Ten Things I Like About Porn
Not Safe For Work, kids.
A hilarious/serious weblog that looks at, well, odd porn and effluvia.
The reason why I like it? I think his comics are genius. They're like scatalogical Daniel Clowes, (sometimes bordering on Bagge).
But yeah, there's pretty open actual porn there, so, um, don't click it if you don't want to see women, you know, with the things in their things.

(Also because Firefox is yet another browser that's incompatible with my school's stupid-ass web registration stupid bullshit. Stupid. Safari works grudgingly, but they really want me to be on a windows box running IE. Because they suck.)

That said, I don't mind porn and I don't think it necessarily deingrates women (although the industry often does), but I think most of it is uninteresting.

Um, the title for that other post notwithstanding, I like Doris. Isn't it enough that that thread is a clusterfuck, and that this one is approaching that status? Do we need to add a pile-on as well?
I read you fine, Mr. K, and yes, you're right about its behaviour if you mean "post" in the sense of "comment". It doesn't filter things from the front page.

Yeah, that's what I meant. That's neat, though I don't know who I'd use it on. I wouldn't want to miss what they say, even if I don't like them. The conversations in threads would flow ackwardly, and I'd wind up making a fool of myself responding to a response to somebody I didn't know was there.
Livii- I can understand that. I was working on finding enough links for something on Stuart Hyatt, but couldn't. And, while there is some offensive stuff on this page, I thought the comics were pretty good (and obviously over the top. C'mon.)

One thing I like about porn threads is they help me figure out the monkeys I would have fun getting embarassingly drunk and obnoxious with, and the ones who would just sit and glower at me from a corner in an attempt to mentally kill my buzz.
Cuz when I'm drunk, the subject ALWAYS turns to porn.
Porn. I used to enjoy porn. But now that I run a sex blog, and spend hours a week reading about carnal pursuits, porn has lost a whole lot of its appeal. Now it's just work product.

Frankly, comics as a medium are particularly suited to porn. Comics are particularly good at portraying fantasy, idealizations, and the just plain weird, all qualities which can be part of really good pornography or erotica.
