Someone has figured out the lyrics to 'Yellow Ledbetter' by Pearl Jam (Flash) and created this cartoon to prove it. This is a big deal because Pearl Jam has never released the lyrics to the song, and Eddie Vedder is incapable of singing in anything other than mumbles.
  • ha!
  • I *knew* it was something about a fetus.
  • It all makes sense now! Man, was I way OFF.
  • Excellent work.
  • That was great.
  • That made my day. Awesome
  • This is better than my pet theory about the song, which is that Eddie doesn't remember the lyrics anymore... and for that matter, forgot them by the time he recorded the song.
  • Dude! )))))
  • There are not enough songs about Eddie Vedder tearing his balls off. It's good to see that Eddie himself is picking up the slack.
  • Much much much better than Chuck Norris, baby. Multiple )'s...
  • wtf, over.
  • Very nice.
  • Splendid. Mysteries of the universe pale in comparison.
  • I keep playing this, now it's gone on for probably 25 or 30 runs, and that is with restraint. This has always been my problem with PJ, they are like crack. Once I start listening I am fixated. They reach down into a deep recess of the soul, hook-in and never release. Damn you BB.
  • I'm like that with good bands.
  • Thanks for sending me into giggly spasms of sheer delight.
  • very great.
  • ))
  • Nice. I don't want to wear a box or a bag, either.
  • GRRReat! love it.
  • So you're not going to wear the box or the bag eh? That's the last time, i'm getting you anything.
  • Funny thing is, trying to read that handwriting is the visual equivalent of trying to decipher the song. I'm quite fond of that giant-necked twitchy mandolin at the beginning and end, though, and the moment when Box or Bag Man first sings. Why? Dunno.
  • ActuallySettle: Ha. If I wrote lyrics like Eddie Vedder I would mumble too.
  • Q: Whats the difference between Eddie Vedder and Kurt Cobain? A: Wooo-oooahhh, I'm still Aliiive!
  • Another take on the lyrics with some good comments :)
  • Hee! I wish I could actually read the handwriting though. It seems to defeat the purpose (or enhance it I guess)
  • drjimmy: HA HA HA
