  • [Looking at their top 30] Oh, sure, everyone loves Monet. But does Manet ever get any love? Nooo! Fuckin' waterlillies are highly bullshit. But Manet's mad line skills get overlooked again. And what, the only photographer on there is Mapplethorpe? I love a good bullwhip up my ass as much as anyone else, but how about Walker Evans or Robert Frank? Search for more art, punks!

  • He's not as well known as Breugel, but you can't get past Hieronymous Cock. (which would be the best metal band ever!).

  • I like this one, too: the collection is stronger in some areas than others, but the site makes it easy to get a good quality copy in whatever size you need for wallpaper, etc.
  • Bruegel loving here at the WebMusuem with large size jpegs (not that many artists, but good quality images for the ones they have). I should learn more about the other Bruegels - the two Jans, and Pieter the Younger - descended from Pieter the Elder.
