Historic tale construction kit [needs Flash] construct your own storys
This brings up an interesting question. Does the fact that this has been done before at MeFi matter? Or in the case of links too good to ignore, is a MoFi link worthwhile so we can discuss it here?
oops. i usually remember if i've seen something before on MeFi, and i didnt remember this one, but i guess i should have checked anyway. I think if a link appeared on Mefi as long ago as a year? it should be okay to post it here, but otherwise, considering that the people here are either MeFilurkers or Mefi-ites, it should be considered as a sort of double post.

there is a fancypants mission/artsncrafts furniture store in Oakland that has Bayeaux Tapestry upholstery. I love it!! its gorgeous.
