Check out the Google Banner--We've Arrived!
Apologies for posting twice in one day, but it is so nice when The Entire Web Bows In Obescience To Us Monks!
Woo-Hooo!
[we are monkey]
[And you know where we can go...}
talking on our banana phones
ruling over Hartlepool...
I don't wanna tone down the party but why there wasn't the same level of noise with other chinese years? what's so special about monkeys (apart from us)?
[chatters at Zemat indignantly]
Well, there was a pretty fair-sized fuss about the Iron ("Golden") Dragon year in 2000.
Monkeys are the new kittens.
* nominates forksclovetofu to clean out the litter box *
couldn't resist sharing this one i just got in an email. excellent monkey animation!
Oop Oop! Very nice, SideDish!
goetter, nobody made fuss about my year. </pessimistic ram>
Monkeys are great because they're easy to relate to, Zemat. They act peoplelike, or people act monkeylike, I've never been real sure which.
I'm delighted that there are monkeys on Google's front page... and chagrined that Dizzy beat me to the punch.
(the cock punch?)
so am I just being ape-fingered about getting to the Google graphic or has it changed since we have officially rolled over to Jan 23?
I WANNA SEE THE MONKEY!!!!
I'm sorry Bluehorse. The graohic yesterday had monkeys swinging from it, but it's reverted to normal. Did anyone save the gif or jpg? I thought of it, but I'm stupid and forgot.
Monkey come, monkey go. Of course, I now have that Weebl and Bob song in my head.
Well, JB, it took me till Feb, 2006, but I guess I can finally forgive you.
Com'er ya big lug and gimme some sugar.
