• Gyan, the studies on cognition aging unlinked to disease caught my attention right away. ...vocabulary and general knowledge do quite well, for example, but some aspects of memory, non-verbal reasoning, processing speed and other capabilities, tend to deteriorate with age.... Wish they'd gone into this in more detail, especially about the non-verbal reasoning part. Always thought a person should take up some new interest, activity or study every couple of years, just so the mind doesn't ossify, so to speak. But what do I know.
