But, dang-- the price for it--$5200 USD--would buy lotsa Pop-Tarts...

I actually HAVE a 1950's-era Wedgewood Stove in my apartment. The clock doesn't work and one of the knobs is cracked, but otherwise it's in great shape. I always thought it was a cool looking stove, and having a big wide space in the middle to rest things -no cramped stovetops!- is convenient.
I wonder if my landlord has any idea what a gem of a stove he's got...
These are beautiful, but if you ever have enough money, don't get one with an overhead shelf. It might seem like a good idea, but it isn't. Overhead grills (or broilers) are very convenient if you broil a lot, but in general, anything above the stove top interfeers with cooking on the back burners. I was cooking this summer on a stove like that and it was just so frustrating.
That six burner stove though - that is just magnificent.
Diz - With respect to the ladies, but, they are too old for me and one of them tried to cook me alive once. I prefer this modern korean chick instead.
