Quite Possibly the First Time the Word "Blog" was Used in Comics The year was 1959 and Blog was a cave dweller with a thing for Lois Lane.
I can help but giggle when reading lines like, "All right Blog, here's my first request! Stop that rampaging dinosaur all by yourself!
"Blog only unmarried man in tribe."
Starting a tradition that continues to this day.
Two questions:
Did they really have to put BLOG's name in bold type</b> all the time?
And what's with Clark Kent's thighs in that first illustration?
I just wish I'd learned that trick with the cigarette lighter... So, any of you MoFettes wanna come to my cave for some meat on a stick?

Those are old style jodhpurs. It's just loose fabric.
The lighter was to be a gift from Lois to Perry White, since he keeps running out of matches for his cigars.
