• If there's one thing I've learned recently, it's that places that claim to have WiFi are generally either wrong or incompetent or both. But maybe that's more a local thing.
• Just got back home kiddies. My cover has now been blown and I will from now on no longer be in cognito. Photos will be posted via mandyman tomorrow. Nonetheless, we who attended were dissapointed by the lack of representin". Beautiful cali, who drove all the way from Santa Barbara (via an appointment in Burbank) showed, wendell (he of the great wit) showed, the lovely and talented space kitty and mandyman also showed their bright and beautiful faces. Oh, and I was there. All you LA MoFi'ers who didn't represent are fucktards or asshats..., or whatever the hep insult is, that's what you are. And if you don't want to continue to be AHs or FTs or whatever, then you should show at the next meetup which will be held at a 21 and over type place (ahem... paging Cellar Floor?). We're thinkin' Musso and Franks.

• Musso and Franks? isn't that a 90-and-over place? I wanted to go, really I did, but I had a video shoot starting at 10 this morning and a meeting tonight and I just now got home and it's been a SERIOUSLY long day for a Sunday. Catch you guys next time though.
• Just goes to show what you need to learn about Hollywood Dr J. Musso's is a revered institution, not a 90 and over place. They make the best martini on the west coast and when you get it, it comes with an icey caraffe of extra nectar to top off your libation. The steaks and chops are to die for and where else are you going to get a cob salad, sweetbreads, welsh rarebit and chicken pot pie in one restaurant in LA county? It was fun meeting up at Barney's in a frat boy sort of way. Football and baseball games were blaring and the college kids were out in force. It was kinda hard to keep a conversation going. Next time we will get sloshed at a more civilized spot.
• What a blast! It was lovely meeting everyone, and I look forward to the next meetup at Musso & Frank's! I'll wait here while mandyman posts pictures. :D

  It was a lot of fun to meet everyone. We laughed, we cried, we listened to the yelps of the sports fans surrounding us. Good times.
• I wish to take this occasion to formally deny and refute anything and everything anybody says about my conduct during the Sunday meetup (even the good stuff). Disclaimer aside, it was fun, the noise emitting from the New York Jets Pacific Exile Booster Club made communication more than a little challenging for me, but then, this was only the third time I was out in any social situation since the January MeetUp. If I'd had my laptop with me, I'd have been too busy blogging the event to tell any of my over-long anecdotes... All the MonkeyLadies were delightful (especially their feet... wait for the pictures), and Billy the Squid is very entertaining after three margaritas (his). More will be spoken of this, as soon as I remember what "inside jokes" we agreed upon...
• mandy, man, I'm downloading the pics to host on some of my unused webspace (after I photoshop in more hair and less chins in my pix). I'll link 'em here as soon as I'm done...
• Thanks for putting those pictures up, they came out better than I'd thought. Some of the shout outs must've gotten cut off, because I'm SURE we got all 2152 MoFites in there somewhere...

• We actually talked a little about shoutouts and how they could turn into a highschool clique kinda thing. And like Cali said above somewhere, we wished we could send shoutouts to all 2160 (minus the five of us) members. I was admiring Space Kitty's manicure and pedicure (she has flowers on her toes) and somehow it unnerved the gentlmen at the table when she presented her feet. Of course I was unnerved when squidranch handed me his wallet a few minutes after meeting me. So we all learned something that day.

• In New York, naxosaxur had very cleverly brought along a long list of deserving monkeys. It's always hard to come up with them on the spur of the moment.
