Curious George: I’m looking to buy a Webcam
to get my cool site up and running again. I need one to capture still shots in both sunny and shady conditions (reflection was main problem last time). There are gajillions out there... suggestions? I'm running a T1 line with WinXP, IE6.0 and iSpy.

I've got this camera which also works as a webcam if you plug it into your pc. Its quite good, and quite cheap for a camera (although I don't know the prices of webcams, which are probably much cheaper than this)

I have this webcam for home use. I bought it to do vid-phone calls home from the states, and occasionally for actual webcam use (nothing there but a baby picture, sorry). It focuses well, was reasonably cheap, and produced good photos in good light but I don't know how it would do over a distance.

hey tracicle, cute baby!! good job reproducing. heh.

That photo's about four months old, I think. He's so cute now that looking at him will make your head explode.

Sorry, blatant derail, ignore my hypocrisy...

Though if you really want your head to explode (requires Flash).
