An intriguing collection of 400 scanned, abandoned grocery lists: "I like other people's grocery lists. They're funny. A lot of people cannot spell very well. I try not to make fun of them too much. And some people buy funny combinations of things."
  • I can't look at this, or I won't get anything done today... I love this kinda stuff. Little glimpses into people's lives; the stupid effluvia of existence enthralls me.

  • I couldn't resist : Eggs!
  • this is great! i also amuse myself by looking at what other shoppers put on the check-out counter. weird combos of things indeed. try it sometime.
  • I like to follow other shoppers home and look at what they keep in their wardrobes and bathroom cupboards!

    [ps - this is good]
  • Agreed. I wasted about 20 minutes perusing the lists, and now deem my post as EVIL! This sort of web page is such an egregious waste of time, but so absorbing and irresistible.
  • This is awesome! Want to see something even *more* evil?? Found Magazine I've lost entire days to that site.
  • I followed an Asian student around the supermarket a couple of weeks ago and all he bought was a trolley full of Ramen Noodles. Seriously.
  • tracicle : that's common for any student.
  • cat food salad A very lonely person wrote this list...
  • I loved that list, f8xmulder - it reminded me of my usual lists
  • A staple of our undergraduate diet was uncooked ramen noodles with nacho cheese product.
  • naxosaxur: I'll see your Eggs! and raise you with strawberries?
  • I didn't want to say it, dng, but you've forced my hand... I wrote it, Okay!!? See what you made me do!? *sob*
  • Wow, if you check out the google ads on the original link, they've got things for "gracery list computer software" and ways to order the list "aisle by aisle." I like a good strategical strike through the supermarket as much as the next monkey, but that seems a bit too type A.
