Letterboxing with Mark and Sue , including a trip to Dartmoor, where letterboxing first started in 1854.

Thus I glimpsed into the intriguing World of Letterboxing.

This makes geocaching look like cheating.

Maybe I'm just dense, but I couldn't find any hint what letterboxing actually _is_ on any of those pages. Finally google led me to the Letterboxing in America FAQ.

I bought a GPS primarly for geocaching. DO NOT by a Magellen Sportrac--they are not intuitive or user friendly.

Otherwise, it's a neat way to get out and waste an afternoon in the hills.

Sorry, calimehtar - it's tucked away on the right side of the first link, and explained a bit in the history on the Dartmoor link. I was very confused at first too - but I just love the rhythm of "with Mark and Sue".
