Monty Python and the Holy Grail to become the musical "Spamalot". This info is months old and I can't believe it got past me.
Holy Jesus yes.
Hmmm... this could be great - or disapointing. Will it work without the bridging animnation? How would the randomness of the plot translate? Dare I commit heresy and suggest that while Holy Grail has funnier individual scenes (Marxist peasants being the best of the century), Life of Brian is a more coherant and satisfying film?
oooh jb go burn yourself at a stake.
Personally I love the witch scene (compare with opening of act two in Arthur Miller's 'The Crucible' and you'll see why I had a had such a hard time saying the lines with a straight face).
But Life of Brian's Palestinians discussing benefits of being Roman citizens beautiful too!
[It's only a model.]
Shh!
Will it work without the bridging animnation?
Ask me the questions, bridgekeeper. I'm not afraid.
The Camelot Song done with Lego. Not YouTube, neither.
I enjoyed a performance of Verdi's Requiem tonight. Unfortunately, I and my sprog were overcome with giggle fits every time "Pie Jesu Domine: dona eis requiem" came up, and there was much whapping of foreheads with programmes, to the disapproval of the mink-clad set. Heh heh.
A friend of mine saw Spamalot this past weekend. She gave it two "Meh's" out of three.
Awwww - I was given the coolest Mother's Day prezzink ever.
