All the ash from Mount St. Helens could help Bigfoot researchers. I wonder how the Sasquatch Militia feels about this.

Did volcanoes help create life?

"Amino acids could have been formed on Earth under different, plausible prebiotic conditions," says Ghadiri. "But they have also been found in meteorites, so they could have been brought to Earth as well."

Cool!

This is all very interesting. Thanks.

Evidence of 'jungle yeti' found

Homunculus, thanks for the link. I remember this MoMo the Missouri Monster report from when I was a kid, the man who spotted good ole MoMo, spotted this creature just up the road from our house. Coon Creek runs through our property.
I remember it being such a big deal for months afterwards. My brothers and I hunted that land and were forever on the lookout for MoMo, but never found any evidence of this creature.

a brush of cloud
hung across the summit
for days
before ash and heat
cancelled two towns
with a single stroke

plaster echoes
leftover shapes
of those who could not
run away
straining like
the dog on its chain
