The FBI has required Las Vegas hotels and airlines to turn over all guest and passenger names and personal information for the holiday period, as mandated by the recent legislation which the_bone posted about a few days ago.

But they have not been consulting the Terrorist Screening Center, because it is not ready.

I wonder if they'll also check, based on credit-card slot machines and so on, where everyone went and what they gambled for how much. And then they can increase their annual budget by blackmailing spouses!

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has gotta be pissed, as this would seem to invalidate their "Whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" ad campaign.
