New York Times Link Generator Attention monkeys: the New York Times link generator is a handy tool for bloggers that can post New York Times articles without readers having to register to NY Times. So monkeys please use it when you post that liberal media paper to Monkeyfilter. The link generator is also handy for reading articles over a year old and not having to pay the $2.99 fee.
  • wow, hurrah. thanks Sullivan. indispensible? i can already hear attitude dripping off a curt "generate..?"
  • The link generator is also handy for reading articles over a year old and not having to pay the $2.99 fee. Removing a fee makes me wonder about the legality issues ;P
  • to read NYT articles without a subscription, past the url in google and search for it when it invariably asks you: "If the URL is valid, try visiting that web page by clicking on the following link: www.thenytarticle.com" click on the link. being referred by google makes the NYT welcome ya in (for one article anyway).
  • Removing a fee makes me wonder about the legality issues ;P It's legal. The userland links for NY Times were created for bloggers. As long as the service isn't abused it will stay up.
  • Cool trick sutureself. Thanks.
  • By "over a year old" don't you mean "over a week old"?
  • in my post, please read "past" as "paste." the google thing works with the washington post as well.
  • Let's see this liberal bias in the MSM f8x is always telling us about. Jonah Goldberg
Prior to his work in television Mr. Goldberg was a researcher at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington DC.
Jonah got his start at a neocon think tank. Let's move on. Kathryn Jean Lopez (aka KLo)
Before standing athwart history at National Review, she worked at the Heritage Foundation, the conservative think tank on Capitol Hill.
    David Malpass
