  • Please tell me you got this from the Onion? Please? Then again, a product that spurs communication is good, yes? So why does this feel so hinky?
  • apparently this is not a joke. from a press release: "Khadijah and Aishah are the creators of Off-the-Hook Unlimited, a company whose first product is a line of greeting cards that appeal to young adults. Both Khadijah and Aishah were born in the urban city of Brooklyn, New York so they know first-hand some of the many experiences that young people go through. It is important that our cards address the many issues that concern young people today and that the contents of the cards remain positive." but nowadays, how is anybody supposed to figure out what's parody and what's real?
  • Yes. And I'm trying to leave my race outside on the lawn. So why does this seem so cringy-funny (parody) or poor taste-cringy (real product)? Or should I bring in that bag full of race that I left out on the lawn and throw up my hands and say, "This white guy has a set of behaviors/references so DIFFERENT from another guy-- and I don't get it?" Seems either way we all lose. And I'd rather put that bag of race down-- heavy.
  • Wow, those cards really address the many issues that concern young people today! You go, Khadijah and Aishah! *snaps fingers in "Z" motion*
  • perhaps diz can put together a line of cards that address the many issues of Pudgy Gap-Clad Middle-aged White Dudes today.
  • SD-- Excellent! Let's Product Develop! Card #1: "Honey, why don't you put napkins and extra bbq sauce in with my McGriddle Platter? I come here twice a day." Card #2: "That Melanie from 'ThirtySomething' was hot. How can I erase the "history" feature in my iMac?" Card #3: "Why won't Mathowie return all those e-mails I sent him?"
  • Survey SAYS! . . *BZZZZZZZZT*
  • MonkeyFilter: Why Won't Mathowie Return My Emails?
  • MonkeyFilter: Let's just sit back and kick it, a'ight?
  • Worst. Cards. Evah.
  • Of course the Aishah in question lives in Bridgeport, CT. Hinky indeed.
  • Aishah is almost an anagram for "hashish"
  • It sounds like they stuck scripts from "Jerry Springer" in greeting cards.
  • Please tell me you got this from the Onion? We live in interesting times.
