  • I'm still waiting on the (self-described) world's hardest to arrive.
  • That is amazing scartol - thanks!
  • Just the Times will do nicely, thanks.
  • Zen crossword -- more difficult than it looks.
  • This is great -- I'm swiping it immediately.
  • I'm looking at the horror crossword, which, damn it, is a cryptic. Even when I know the answer to clues, I'm having a harder time working backwards to understand the rest of the hint than I would solving a clue to a "normal" puzzle. I need training wheels for these things. /just venting
  • I need training wheels for these things. You do need some initiation into the logic of cryptics, and you also need to be familiar with a certain number of acronyms and markers. So don't feel shitty, you're essentially learning a semi-private code. When, however, you crack it, you will never bother doing a quick again. /could be wrong, it's not for everybody Need an answer? Email me, and I'll have a go.
  • Thanks, Wolof, I may take you up on your hint service. Am solving it one. damned. clue. at. a. time.
  • *does Deion Sanders showboat dance in the end-zone barely acknowledging his debt to Wolof*
  • Please feel most free to call again, I enjoy this sort of thing. Although those last two clues were pigshit difficult.
  • Now this [scroll to bottom of page] is a crossword. Good thing that somebody's solved it already.
  • Hey goetter, did you ever get the world's hardest?
  • I haven't. And I've been waiting for a couple of months, now. Hmmm.
