Terragen.
An awesome and very easy to use landscape generator. A free piece of software that lets you render almost photo-realistic images in a matter of seconds.
Just look at what you can do with it.
Oops, just realised I've posted twice today. Oh well, it's tomorrow where I am. And this is pretty awesome.
One of my favorite toys this last year. It's easy to use, but hard to use well. One must be both artist and photographer to produce good work- the discussion group can be a great help here.
They still haven't finished the tree and shrub modules, for those of us without LightWave. I await it eagerly.
Whoah...I remember a version of this way back like 6 or 7 years ago. This new version is a huge improvement. Thanks for the link.
