Seriously, Sandman was what the cool kids read, at least at my second high school. Okay, it was an art school with a class on "Art and Anarchy", but comics really were cool. Along with hanging out in the computer lab playing with Photoshop and talking about the Principia Discordia.
What I really want to read again is V for Vendetta, especially in honour of Guido's 400th anniversary.
Sorry - it wasn't an at school, it was an alternative school. We did literature, too.
