We have a squirrel in the yard, but I'd never been up close and personal until I climbed a dogwood to cut some dead branches off. Didn't even notice the squirrel until he/she was looking right at me from a branch not two feet away from my face. They are big up close <:(!)
Housesat for a friend last week, and couldn't figure out why she had a large bag of mixed peanuts and sunflowers on the dresser in her bedroom. Woke up the crack of dawn next morning terrified because someone was trying to kick in the sliding door to the deck off her room. Turns out someone forgot to notify the squirrel she was going out of town.
He. Was. Pissed.
