The conversation any mention of Yo! MTV Raps! brings back from my 1988 memories:
HIM: "But he was so SKINNY in that NWA video, what happened"
ME: "Dude, that's another Dr Dre"
HIM: "No, no, hes on the MTV, he does that rap show"
ME: "Yes, the RAP SHOW, the other Dr Dre is a different dude. Now you're talking about Ed Lover's sidekick"
HIM: "And Easy-E"
ME: "No, thats the NWA guy"
HIM: "Back when he was skinny?"
ME: "Dumbass, thats a different Dr Dre, there are TWO Dr Dres ok?"
HIM: "No way, why wouldn't he change it to something different, like to stand out?"
ME: I guess its too late or something, maybe his rep is tied to the name.
