Crayola colours 1903 to 2010.

Eponysterical!

I clicked over to the Wikipedia entry for Crayola and was surprised to see all of the cool, different types of crayon colors that have come and gone since I stopped using crayons around 1980. I would've LOVED the "Silver Swirls" crayons or the "Color Mix-Up" set when I was a kid! I now have a strong urge to go buy Crayolas and color away this rainy Sunday. . .

Hank, I resisted doing that, but I'm proud that you did so.

Ooooooooooooo.

I recall being slightly disappointed that the different colours all had roughly the same taste.

(Not crayons, but whatever...) The best color palette for natural scenes I've ever found was a watercolor kit, the $5.00 model from LYRA. It features fifteen museologically acceptable colors that work straight off the tin. Their #41003. Fifteen colors only. But I believe they have discontinued it. If not, I'd sure like to know!
